For almost 30 years, I’ve been a freelancer.
From celebrity hairstyling to editorial, events and entrepreneurship, I’ve loved the freedom that freelancing brings.
But behind the scenes, there was one thing I never seemed to master…
Keeping track of my finances.
Multiple jobs.
Multiple clients.
Outstanding payments.

Trying to work out what I’d actually earned.
I tried countless apps, spreadsheets and systems, but none of them worked the way freelancers actually work.
So instead of waiting for someone else to build it…
I decided to do it myself.

For the past year, I’ve been quietly building something.
Not because I wanted to keep it a secret...
But because I wanted to make sure it genuinely solved a real problem before I spoke about it.
I’ve spent almost 30 years working as a freelancer.
Whether as a hairstylist, editor, consultant or founder, I’ve found myself asking the same questions time and time again.
What have I actually earned?
What do I really take home after agency fees, expenses and tax?
Which invoices are still outstanding?
Where did I put that receipt?
I searched for an app that truly understood how freelancers, creatives and self-employed professionals actually work.
I couldn’t find one.
So I built the app I wish I’d had.

A financial management app designed to help freelancers, creatives, self-employed professionals and modern business owners better understand their finances, all in one place.
We’re now entering the final stages of development, and although there’s still so much more to reveal over the coming weeks, today felt like the right time to finally stop hiding what I’ve been working on.
This is only the beginning.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be inviting 50 –100 freelancers, creatives and business owners to join our exclusive beta programme and help shape Keep Track before its public launch.
